It’s happening … the man, the myth, the legend, Andrew Wilson is retiring!
After 44 years in Vertical Transportation and 9 years at GUNN, Andrew is hanging his hard hat up for the last time …
Andrew, tell us, what are you most looking forward to about retirement?
Being on my own schedule to be able to do what I want, whenever I want.

Awesome, what will you miss most about the office?
The GUNN team that I worked with in the office and the clients we work with.
We know the team will miss you too! Tell us, over your 44 years in VT, what is your most memorable project and why?
There have been many. Canada Line was very challenging and rewarding as a contractor. The Post on Georgia was a very interesting project from a design perspective as a consultant, and of course, Oakridge Redevelopment for the sheer size of the project.
Any advice for our young GUNNs?
Don’t get overly stressed about work. It’s important to take work seriously but getting overly stressed does not help and after the dust has settled in hindsight it usually always looks to have been unnecessary and usually unproductive.

And last but most importantly, will you come visit us?
Of course I will come to visit and hopefully be invited to future GUNN Client Appreciation Parties!
