SAFETY is what I'm most passionate about professionally.
Professionally I’m known for my knowledge and experience with the Elevators Code requirements. Understanding compliance and interpretation of the Code rules is a challenge, but I keep working on my aptitude in considering the different points of view from all related stakeholders.
SAFETY is what I’m most passionate about professionally. It is painful to admit that people who work on and around elevators and escalators are still getting hurt and sometimes even killed. A numbers of elevator organizations, such as manufacturers, service companies, consulting groups and safety experts, have designed safety programs and have implemented safety policies to address this issue. However, despite their efforts accidents still occur, people continue to get hurt, and sometimes much worse. As a Consultant and a Code Committee member, it is my hope that through advising, reviewing, or creating new rules we will find that golden piece which will hopefully put an end to accidents. I believe there is something that we can all do to work safely.
I would be cooking!
