What’s your favorite way to spend a weekend or a Sunday afternoon?

I really enjoy walking along the sea wall or reading on a beach during those sunny weekends. The ocean breeze and the warm sun is just so relaxing, and gives me a chance to slow down and let myself to breath in the fresh air of Vancouver.

What “lesson from mom” do you still live by today?

When I was young I was kind of a picky eater, and my mom would keep telling me to “Don’t knock it till you’ve tried it”. It took me a while but by getting out of my “food comfort zone”, I was able to try so many more different things in life, she has taught me to break my internal barrier and just try things that I was afraid of, and I owe my now adventurous spirit to her.

What’s the one thing you want to accomplish before you die?

I really want to be able to travel around the world and experience the varies cultures and landscapes that Earth has to offer. There’s just something about exploring new places (and food!) that keeps me excited.
